DBTL FESTIVAL IN ENGLISH
Down by the Laituri festival (DBTL) is a traditional festival that is celebrated once a year in Turku, Finland. In 2026, DBTL festivals will be celebrated from 23th to 25th of July in Tuomiokirkkotori and Brahenpuisto.

During the breaks there is a special entertainment program in the VIP area. There are plenty of seating areas in the VIP area, as well as beverage outlets for use by VIP clients, toilets and a smoking area.

HOW TO ARRIVE?
DBTL festival is celebrated in the city centre of Turku, at Tuomiokirkkotori and Brahenpuisto. The entrance to the festival area is on the corner of Uudenmaankatu and Tuomikirkkosilta.
HOW TO ENTER?
Tickets (purchased in advance and purchased at the ticket office in the area) will be checked at the gate and exchanged for a wristband. The ticket allows you to enter the festival area only once. You cannot leave the festival area during the event day and return by showing the same ticket. All VIP ticket categories and PLUS ticket categories allow you to leave the festival area during the event day and return later.
OPENING HOURS
The festival area opens its gates on Thursday at 1:00 PM, Friday at 2:00 PM, and Saturday at 2:00 PM.
AGE LIMIT
The age limit for the festival area is 18 years. Anyone under 18 years of age cannot enter the festival area even with the adult.
FOOD AND DRINKS
The festival area has diverse food outlets. Please remember to bring your ID with you to prove your age of 18. The importation of own alcoholic beverages is prohibited. We recommend paying with card purchases, but also have a cash with, as payment lines may be congested during the transaction.
SAFETY
There are plenty of law enforcement officers in the festival area. Always follow the instructions given by the law enforcement officers and contact them immediately in an emergency. There is also a first aid center in the area.
One sealed bottle (up to 1.5 liters) or empty may be brought into the festival area.
Prohibited items include: weapons, alcoholic beverages, narcotics, explosives, flares, firearms, dangerous items, multi-purpose tools, laser pointers, light sticks, aerosols (eg hairspray), umbrellas and chairs / seats.
It is prohibited to import a SLR into the area without the permission of the organizers. Photographing for personal use is allowed, but be sure to respect the privacy of other festival goers.
Smoking is prohibited on the stage during concerts. There are designated smoking points in the event area.
CLOAKROOM
There is a cloakroom in the festival area.
VIDEOGRAPHER AND PHOTOGRAPHER
There is a videographer and photographer moving around the area who are shooting footage for DBTL marketing.
LOST AND FOUND
After the festival, lost and found items will be handled by Suomen Löytötavarapalvelu, Shopping Center Länsi1, Viilarinkatu 5, 20320 Turku, tel. 0600 03391, www.loytotavara.net. The office is open on weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm.
ACCOMODATION
There are several hotels in Turku, a short walk to DBTL festival.
MEDIA ACCREDITATION
Accreditation is intended for media representatives arriving to work at DBTL festival. Submitting your application for accreditation does not guarantee a positive decision or free access to the festivals. The application for accreditation is personal and the media representatives who submitted the application will be contacted personally before the event begins.
Media accreditation will open in the summer.
